The Ashram announced special rewards for scholarship students enrolled under its SBA Emerging Youth Scholarship & Mentoring Scheme who secured 1st and 2nd rank in their colleges:

  • 1st Rank Holder = Laptop or an equivalent device
  • 2nd Rank Holder = Tablet or an equivalent device

The first awardee was Ritika Wadhwa, the topper in the BHMS study program, and now a beaming recipient of a laptop.

Firm in its resolve to motivate students and help them explore their inherent potential, the SBA EYSMS team visited the Government Model Senior Secondary School in Narag, Sirmour District. It showed its care in action by donating a desktop computer.

The team also hosted an interactive career guidance webinar for the students of grades 9 -12. Armed with the success stories of prior recipients and with an awareness of the possibilities offered by the Scholarship & Mentorship scheme, the webinar left the students with a changed perspective regarding opportunities available to them.

 

The Sri Badrika Ashram Charitable & Social Welfare Society received a heartwarming appreciation letter from the Govt Senior Secondary School at Kotla Barog, Dist Sirmour. The school sincerely appreciated the ashram’s concern for making potable water readily available to students with the indispensable gift of an RO Water Purifier.

 

Last but not least, news from the home front: The Silai Kendra at the ashram witnessed the graduation of 26 brand new sewists. Each of them proudly walked away with game-changers gifted by Sri Badrika Ashram – new sewing machines!
