“At all times, if only we could remember that to be able to give anything to anyone is a great
privilege, a blessing”
~ Om Swami
In continuing our efforts to make triple-layer masks available in hospitals, seamstresses from the Silai Kendra centres at Kotla Barog and Dudham came forward once again, and contributed their time and expertise. Within a short span of 10 days, they made 1250 masks that were then distributed to needy patients and their families at the Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh. Impressed by the contribution, Dr Chavan, the Director Principal of GMCH, sent a letter of appreciation, citing that the masks were of immense help to the patients and families who received them.

The Maharishi Markendeshwar Medical College, Kumarhatti also received masks through a devotee doctor working there. Doctors, paramedical staff, nurses, lab technicians, drivers and helpers were the recipients in this case. “Everyone was happy and grateful to the Ashram for organising this” was the message received from her.

Masks were also sent to the following six hospitals in Nagpur: Jasleen Hospital & Kidney Center, The Core Cardiac Center, Sai Eye & Ortho Care Center, Mandhania Cancer Hospital, Dangra Brain & Eye Care Center and Chinmay Children & Surgical Hospital. They were distributed to the core staff, patients, attendants and guards. Every hospital was grateful for the masks that reached at the height of this pandemic, as most staff were still using handkerchiefs to protect themselves.
The Ashram is grateful to all the devotee doctors who have come forward in this endeavour to support COVID warriors across different cities.
